Ercol large drop leaf table - 1960’s ‘Old Colonial 377” with blue label

Designed by lucian ercolani, the ercol old colonial table is an earlier and rarer design than more recent ercol tables. Produced in the 1960’s it has the ‘blue label’ which was only used between 1955 and 1975. It is well used but in great condition, the solid elm top has distinctive wood grain. The leg frame is solid beech with ridged detailing which is unique to the old colonial. The old colonial table is usually round or rectangular. This is a rare larger version of the old colonial table with a different shape. Size. Width 124cm X depth 112cm X height 73cm X width each flap 31cm. Condition: Very good mid century condition.
