Pair of Asian bronze vases with relief decoration.

Beautiful pair of bronze vases with a brown patina, featuring a baluster shape with a long neck, flanked by two curved handles. The surface is entirely worked with a rich relief decoration inspired by the Far East. Against a finely chiseled background of geometric and stylized patterns, flowering branches in strong relief stand out, animated by numerous birds. The applied flowers give the whole a particularly abundant and sculptural decoration. The flared necks are highlighted by geometric friezes, while the bodies feature an archaizing decoration mixing stylized motifs, birds, vegetation, and Asian ornaments. Beautiful nuanced brown patina, particularly enhancing the depth of the chiseling and the numerous details of the decoration. A very decorative pair, interesting for the richness of its relief work and its beautiful presence. Period: 19th century Origin: Asia, China Material: bronze with brown patina Dimensions: height 26 cm Sold as a pair. Overall good condition, with patina and slight signs of use consistent with age.
