Brutalist dining room in the style of charles dudouyt and consisting of a dining room table with a rectangular top with two extensions, geometric décor on the wooden base turned in no screws and six chairs with openwork back trimmed with a blue velvet, the wooden feet turned in screw steps. Small accidents. Size: Table: h 75, 150x90 cm. Chairs: h 110, 48x44 cm. In recent years, there has been a return to grace of "brutalism", a very particular style of design characterized by a minimalism of forms and the use of raw materials. Current designers are inspired by this very fashionable style from the 50s to the end of the 70s to create unique collector's items. Some do not hesitate to claim a "neo-brutalist" design that draws from brutalism a taste for the harshness of certain bare materials (raw concrete, rough wood, bare bricks, patinated plaster).
