Monolithic block vase made of solid blown glass, handcrafted by Robert Pierini, a figure of the French Studio Glass movement and the Biot school. Dated 1997, this piece showcases a high mastery of hot work. The optical architecture revolves around a ribbed swirling core with deep cobalt blue and emerald green hues. Polychrome double-sided intercalary decorations (coral red, orange, black) are suspended in solid material. The whole is textured with wide drips of golden and copper metallic oxides, offering an iridescent and subtly glittery finish. Signed and dated at the tip under the base: "R. Pierini / Co 12 / 1997". Excellent condition: no cracks or chips, slight normal micro-scratches under the base attest to its authenticity.
