Vintage Mid-Century ceramic coffee table – Signed SAMMIE – 1970s

Superb vintage coffee table from the 1950s-1960s, a true witness to the golden age of French artistic ceramics in the post-war period (Vallauris / Côte d'Azur movement). The top is made of fully hand-painted glazed ceramic tiles, resting on a modernist black tubular metal base, typical of Mid-Century design. Its previous life has left some marks of time, which testify to its history.
