Wall light "Cirkel" by Kjeld Darø for Darø A/S. Denmark 1970s

Minimalistic wall light consisting of two metal discs with the light bulb mount placed in between. The darø "cirkel" wall lamp exists in several colors this being the cream white version. It creates an eclipse style light effect spreading a diffused decorative light that looks different from all angles of the room. Good condition with only minor signs of use. Standard e14 light bulb socket. Darø is a family-owned lighting company founded by kjeld darø in 1969. Kjeld darø is the son of helmuth and helga darø who designed and produced lamps since 1948. Today the second darø generation owns and manages the company. The brand is focused on lamp design and the philosophy is based upon the small details that have a surprising impact thanks to their value-adding aesthetics and functionality.
