Alabaster and Bronze Cup, Ancient Inspiration – Late nineteenth

Large alabaster cup in red siena tones on a gray white background, cylindrical in shape and hollowed out in a bowl. It has two generous handles in bronze spirit "lanière". On each of them, there are two macaroons with antique female and male figures, reminiscent of that of the helmeted man present in the center of the cup. The latter rests on an ornate bronze pedestal.
