Amanta armchairs by Mario Bellini for C&B Italia from the 70s. Famous Italian architect, Mario Bellini was commissioned in 1966 by C&B Italia to design 2 pieces: the Quattro Gatti coffee table and the Amanta armchair. These armchairs have a reinforced polyester structure, in one piece, for the manufacture of which the brand invested specially in a 1500 ton press! The frame is reinforced by a central rear slot and the armchair rests on 4 rubber spheres which provide a soft and stable contact with the ground. They are part of the pioneering designs of modular sofas. Iconic and rare pieces!
