Description
Unfindable set of three white ceramic table lamps made in italy in the 60s / 70s by sc3 and gabbianelli. These lamps are made of a single ceramic body concept, launched by the longobarda designed by marcello cuneo in 1966. Longobarda achieved several awards, among which the "premio palladio" for the application of ceramic to industrial design. This lamp was also exposed at the moma in nyc during the "italy: new domestic landscape" exhibition. The first lamp is the small version of longobarda - conceived as bedside or side table lamp. Produced by the renowned company gabbianelli in the sixties, longobarda is a great testament of italian design and ingenious industrial application. The second lamp and third lamps are the iconic and rare ‘venezia’ and the hourglass shape ceramic lamp made in italy by sc3 in the 70s. The three lamps are all made of white ceramic made in italy, with original wiring including bakelite bulb holders. They have original labels. This set is almost unfindable and provides a unique touch of space age italian design combined with unsurpassed quality of manufacturing. Item. Table lamps. Designer. Marcello cuneo. Maker.
