Painted Folk Art Bridal Cupboard

Beautifully restored bridal cupboard made of pine dating from 1816. This cupboard has a simple design but has a decorative painting in a dark green color with floral decorations. This copy is in good condition considering its age, although there are of course some light signs of use. The cupboard has a well-functioning lock with key and is equipped with the original coat hooks and a shelf on the inside. If desired, you can easily add shelves. In the past, it was customary to give bridal furniture like this as a gift to the couple at a wedding. This furniture was subsequently placed on the farm in a stately room that was only rarely used for high-ranking visitors or special occasions. A beautiful and decorative piece of history.
