Teak and stainless steel coffee table for Fristho by Rudolf Bernd glatzel, 1960s holland

Gorgeous Coffee Table designed by Rudolf Bernd Glatzel for Fristho, the Netherlands in the ‘60s. The rectangular top is made with Teak and Rosewood veneer slats, in wonderful different tones. The warm expression of the basic top beautifully contrasts to the thin tubular steel legs. At the end of the legs there are slightly tapered wood tips, that form a very refined detail. The well sized coffee table has a floating character, due to the inwards position of the legs. Marked with Fristho label on the bottom and in very good condition.
