Box in painted wood hammered effect

Charming little wooden box covered with a hammered effect paint, metallic, green gray, with a small handful of copper gold color. It dates from before 1968 since the mandatory mention "patented s.g.d.g." which appears on the back disappeared that year. It must have contained something relatively valuable because it is upholstered in dark green velvet inside and under the case, a watch perhaps It is in good condition, solid, the hinges are functional, but has some small traces of its age: small marks on the handle, small spots on the velvet under the box, marks and a remnant of postage stamp stuck inside the lid. It measures 12.5 by 9.3 cm for a height of 4.5 cm. It weighs about 120 g.
