A unique pair of 'Polaris' swivel chairs, designed by Eero Aarnio for Asko Export in the 1970s. These chairs are in good original condition. The 'Polaris' chairs were initially designed in 1966, and this upholstered and swivel version with a cutout on the backrest was produced in limited numbers. The style combines elements from Eero Aarnio's 'Polaris', 'Viking', and 'Captain' projects. The original upholstery is in good condition with visible signs of use. The chairs feature Asko's typical swivel system at the center of the aluminum base. They are signed and showcase excellent craftsmanship as well as timeless design.
