Exceptional persian carpet nain (or naïm), center of persia (iran), circa 1930-1950. Cotton warp and weft, wool velvet and silk flowers. Size: 130 X 86 cm. The carpet, with deco art-inspired motifs, is decorated with a blue central medallion on a navy blue background enhanced by a semi of stylized geometric flowers and ivory counter-background. An ivory border with garland of flowers surrounds the composition.
