Pair of cast iron andirons. Decorated with a wild man. Accolade-shaped base. Diamond and chevron pattern in the middle. Partly 15th century (the horizontal trestles may be later). Good condition, patina of age. Dimensions: Height: 39cm. Depth: 39cm. Width of legs: 16cm. Width of body: 8cm. Weight of each andiron: approximately 15kg.
