Léon Londot - 1876 - 1953. Oil on canvas. Stormy day. Needle signature lower left. Writings on the back to decipher. Born in Mons. He mainly paints landscapes, seascapes and still lifes. He was a student of Antoine Bourlard at the Bergen Academy from 1890 to 1895. Then he went to the Brussels Academy. From 1914, he lived in Uccle. Several of his works are part of private properties in England and France. In 1931, he became Queen Elizabeth's painting teacher. Canvas 41.5 x 50.5 cm - frame 50 x 59 cm. Total weight 1730 gr. Very good state.
