Old earthenware cups Villeroy & Boch 1562 Old Strasbourg

Two villeroy & boch mettlach earthenware cups and saucers, model 1562 vieux strasbourg, from the 1930s and 40s. Stamped "v&b / m[ettlach] / made in germany" (cups), "villeroy & boch / mettlach / made in germany / VI / 1562" and "e3" in hollow (saucers). Printed floral decoration (blooming roses, tulips, forget-me-nots...) on ivory background, net and empire green handles. In good condition: small ginning of the enamel inside a cup, slightly erased decoration on the side of a cup, fine scratches of friction in the center of the saucers (see detailed photos), otherwise no accident, no trace of obvious use, bright enamel and bright colors. Dimensions: cup / diam. 9 cm, h 5.5 cm; saucer /diam. 14.5 cm.
