Antique push candle holder, 18th century gilded carved bronze candlestick.

This old candlestick is made of gilded bronze. The tube is enhanced with a push button, adorned with a round grip to raise the candle. It is an antique candlestick from the late 18th century or very early 19th century with simple shapes. A piece of popular art, it is made of gilded bronze with traces of a red patina. In good condition, it shows signs of use, dents (notably on the base which is deformed), and signs of oxidation (visible verdigris). Dimensions: 20 cm X 15.5 cm.
