Pair of day beds by Pierre Guariche, La Plagne circa 1968

Pierre Guariche designed these sofa beds for the La Plagne ski resort, in the French Alps, they are very practical thanks to their modularity. Entirely in plywood and cream white laminate, they are available with their storage drawer, allowing them to accommodate a second bed, and a shorter drawer to transform them into a corner bench seat. The mattress has been restored and covered with an orange-red Nobilis wool sheet, totally in the spirit of the arrangements of the time.
