Antique mirror

Large antique napoleon III pedimented mirror, dating from the 19th century. Its richly carved frame of foliage, flowers and fruit is topped with a pediment with a crown of flowers housing a bird (dove) emblem of peace, love and refinement. The frame is gilded with the original gold leaf and has been re-patinated in some places to give it a new shine. The mirror is in very good condition. Complete original parquet on the back. Rare piece with a lot of charm height: 147 cm width: 94 cm.
