Suspension light with a sky blue glass shade from Clichy, snowflake shape.

Here is a very beautiful pendant light with a shade made of speckled Clichy glass in a rare colour, sky blue. The shape is very elegant and original, with draping around the edge, resembling a snowflake (viewed from above). This light fixture likely dates from the 1930s, and its stylised snowflake shape evokes the Art Deco style. It also features an old metal suspension hook with three small screws to hold the shade, a socket attached to the hook for a bayonet bulb, an (old) cable, and a porcelain ceiling rose (this rose has a thread, so I imagine it screws onto another piece, which is not provided but probably easy to find at a dealer specialising in antique lighting) that will be fixed to the ceiling. The whole piece is in good condition, with the glass free from cracks or chips, but there are usual signs of wear on the neck (original or due to the hook?), intact porcelain, a complete hook, but the metal is now well patinated with age (a dull film that could probably be removed with fine steel wool polishing if desired). The shade measures 28 cm in diameter and approximately 10 cm in height.
