Superb little inlaid chest of drawers with its Louis XV style marble

Small, beautifully crafted, period chest of drawers, made of inlaid fruitwood and topped with beautiful marble. It opens with 3 drawers with richly inlaid diamond-shaped fronts and a framing fillet. The pull handles and the keyhole are in gilded bronze and all present. The locks work perfectly with a very elegant key. There are also bronzes on the top of the uprights and on the apron (lower part) with a movement. The slightly flared legs and the dimensions of this chest of drawers give it a charming lightness. Apart from a small crack on the width of the right side (the sides are also entirely inlaid with diamonds and a framing fillet), it is in almost perfect condition. H: 81 cm. W: 55.5 cm. D: 33.5 cm.
