Female portrait in oil on wood panel, created around the 1930s. The work stands out for its very expressive painting, beautiful texture, and a particularly modern palette blending muted greens, grey-lilacs, pinks, and cool shadows. The face is constructed with precision while the clothing and background are treated more freely, with large areas of colour. This balance gives the portrait a very contemporary presence despite its age. A small monogram is visible in the bottom right corner, although the artist has not been definitively identified.
