Large openwork ceramic bowl – B. Letalle for Saint-Clément – celadon green & gilding – Ø 43 cm – 1950s. Very elegant, this large openwork glazed ceramic bowl is a creation signed by B. Letalle for the Saint-Clément pottery, dating from the 1950s. It immediately captivates with its superb openwork design and its radiant relief decoration, characteristic of the decorative revival of the post-war period. Its subtle and luminous celadon green hue is delicately enhanced with golden borders that finely highlight its graphic lines. With a generous diameter of 43 cm, this piece becomes a true centrepiece: perfect as a table centre, on a console, or as a sculptural decorative object. At the crossroads of late Art Deco and 1950s design, it embodies the craftsmanship of great French manufacturers and the timeless elegance of ceramics from this period. Very good overall condition. Light wear to the gilding, consistent with the age of the piece. No chips or cracks.
