Wireless Eduard Bay ceramic lamp - suitable for outdoor use

Price for lamp including the shade and wireless bulb. This special accent lamp is based on an original vase from Bay Keramik – model 83/20 – designed by Bodo Mans in the 1960s/70s. The vase is part of the iconic designs of German studio ceramics from that era and combines a clear, almost archaic shape with an expressive black-brown and white-grey glass glaze. Particularly beautiful is the strong contrast between the dark ceramic base and the fading white glaze, resembling almost melted snow. The simple handle also emphasises the sculptural effect of the shape. The handmade shade has been covered with a Japanese fabric that features stylised dogs on a dark grey background. Thanks to the monochrome black and white design, the fabric harmonises exceptionally well with the vase and creates, when lit, a very calm and graphic light atmosphere. The vase has been transformed into a lamp without drilling, thus preserving the original state and collectible value of the ceramic. Techniques – wireless and flexible: The lamp operates with a rechargeable LED bulb and is completely wireless. Recharge via USB-C, lighting duration of up to approximately 12 hours. The bulb is dimmable and can be controlled remotely. Multiple adjustable light colours. Also suitable for sheltered outdoor areas such as a balcony or terrace.
