Vegetable dish Villeroy & Boch model "Clover - Klee", blue, 1890-1900. Rare antique soup tureen / vegetable dish by Villeroy & Boch, Klee decoration, produced in Wallerfangen around 1900. Its delicate vegetal decoration featuring clover motifs, printed in a bluish green on a cream background, reflects the craftsmanship of the factory at the end of the 19th century, in a style heralding Art Nouveau. Complete with its lid, this beautiful piece in earthenware will fit perfectly on a characterful table or in a French Country, Cottagecore, or country house decor. Dimensions: 32 X 19 cm. Height: 14 cm. Generally good condition for an object over 100 years old. This antique piece shows natural crazing of the glaze as well as some signs of age, witnesses to its history (1 small internal chip, 2 hairline cracks, yellowing of the glaze in certain areas, see photographs).
