Turtledove kitchen string holder

Rare ceramic turtledove wall hanging kitchen string & scissor holder. A traditional french item, it is designed to hang on the kitchen wall and give easy access to kitchen string. A small ball of string fits into the back and gets fed through the mouth so you can pull out the amount you need. The tail holds a small pair of scissors. It can also be used as a wall hanging vase for dried flowers or just as a decoration piece. It has lovely filigree detailing and is free of cracks or chips in the ceramic.
