Large brass and glass palm console

. This very rare example is composed of two large palm trees placed on a black wood and mirror-polished brass base, and topped with transparent glass with brass screws securing them together. The cutting, welding and torch finishing work giving the shades of color to the brass is superb, The patina on the brass of the leaves and trunk is superb. Each palm tree has two bulbs, and the console takes on yet another dimension once lit. It has been completely cleaned and restored, and is in a superb state of conservation.
