Art Deco style vase, designed by Josef Hoffmann and made by the Moser factory in Karlovy Vary in the 1930s, crafted from precisely faceted crystal with an intense, saturated yellow hue. The vase's form is based on strong, architectural geometry: vertical facets emphasize the slenderness and symmetry of the body, radiating upwards and onto a wide, polygonal base. The surface has no additional decorations – the value of this object lies in its pure line, clear colour, and excellent material transparency. Carefully polished, the crystal reflects light, and the smooth surface brings out the clarity and depth of the colour. The manufacturer's signature confirms the vase's exceptional provenance. The condition is described as very good – the surface shows no signs of wear, losses, or repairs. Speaking in the language of the era, this vase is a manifesto of Central European interwar modernism: it combines functionality with decorativeness, and its silhouette evokes the architectural order of the 1930s. Faceted edges make the light 'dance' on the surfaces, and the yellow glass – full of life and energy – recalls the optimism and dynamism of the times in which it was created. Every detail is thought out, every shape break – a reference to the geometry and harmony that became the hallmark of Art Deco. The vase can be placed on a geometric console from the interwar period or on a modern wooden or stone top, where the clarity of form and colour will be exposed in daylight. It works well as a soloist in a minimalist living room, and in collector arrangements, it is worth combining it with other objects from the era – crystal goblets, a silver sugar bowl, or geometric graphics. It also harmoniously presents itself against a dark wall or next to soft velvet, which will highlight its light-colour properties and the effect of shiny reflections.
