1x Børge Mogensen J39 Oak Dining Chair, FDB Møbler Denmark 1970

Designed by Danish furniture designer Børge Mogensen in 1947, the J39, also known as the People’s Chair, embodies the principles of Danish modernism through its honest materials, functional construction and understated elegance. Inspired by traditional Shaker furniture, its solid oak frame and woven paper-cord seat combine durability with a light, timeless aesthetic. Produced by FDB Møbler, the J39 became one of Denmark’s most enduring furniture designs. This 1970 example retains a beautiful patina and has been newly rewoven, preserving the chair’s original character while making it ready for everyday use. HxWxDxSH: 76cm x 48cm x 42cm x 46cm
