Tripod stool art-popular in solid wood, slit feet

The stool is in very good condition, no accidents or shortages. The three legs are made of wood, they were made in a large branch, slit by hand, and the assemblies are well in place. The top is a beautiful slice of tree, which has been sawn in an artisanal way in a trunk, and we can clearly see the traces left by the hand saw during the manufacture. The original bark is present on a good half of the turn of the seat cake, and on the other side you can see the wood without bark. The stool had to be repaired several times in the past, old traces of restorations are visible on the top and bottom of the seat. It is healthy and stable, can serve as both a harness and an extra seat. The seat height is lower than the standard seat height of a chair. It was entirely handmade by some skilled handyman with what he had on hand. It is a very touching, authentic and raw regional production. The stool has been fully fed with old-fashioned ancaustic, and for maintenance it will be enough to rub it from time to time with a clean cloth. It dates from the first half of the twentieth century.
