Crystal rooster knife rest Vannes-le-Châtel 1960s

This superb set of twelve crystal knife rests from Vannes-le-Châtel brings a touch of whimsy to the art of the table. Delicate stylised roosters, with their crests raised and tails rounded, whose elongated silhouettes play wonderfully with the transparency and reflections of the crystal. A creation that is as fun as it is refined, where the fauna of our countryside meets the elegance of French tableware. Their unique design makes them true decorative objects, far beyond their primary function. A particularly appealing set due to its unity, presented in its red box, for a table that embraces originality and elegance. The 12 knife rests are in excellent condition. They have evidently been used very little, if at all. Height: 4.5 cm. Length: 11 cm. Width: 1.7 cm. Box: 26 cm / 12 cm / 5 cm. Total weight: 1.2 kg.
