Art Deco walnut sideboard from the 1930s.

Spectacular Art Deco buffet, made in the 1930s in France. This piece stands out with a superb walnut burr veneer featuring spectacular symmetrical "mirror" patterns, typical of the luxurious aesthetic of the interwar period. The front presents three sections: On the left, a compartment with four internal drawers, ideal for cutlery and table linen. In the centre and on the right, two storage spaces with adjustable shelves, perfect for crockery or decorative objects. The piece rests on a curved plinth base and is topped with a stepped top, giving it a refined and architectural silhouette. The interior is in stained wood, carefully finished. The curved lines of this buffet and the veneer make it a very elegant and unique piece. A piece as majestic as it is functional, ideal for a dining room, living room, or office with a vintage or contemporary aesthetic. Work attributable to a quality cabinet-making workshop, in the tradition of the great names of French Art Deco (Leleu, Dominique, Sornay...). Very good overall condition.
