Old Asian style China/Japan lacquered boxes. A large Japanese-inspired brown lacquered box with hand-painted patterns of branches, leaves, flowers and birds in gilding. Small engraved metal hinge (without key) Small signature in Japanese on the lid. Large size 36/27cm height 9.5cm. Good general condition, some defects due to its age visible in the photos. Smaller brown lacquer box with golden flower and bird motifs. Keyless. Good condition but slight defects (see photos) Dimensions 19.5/7.5cm height 7cm.
