Dish with thistle decoration by Daniel Étienne Vallauris

Aperitif plate style dish decorated with vallauris thistle, typical of the work of daniel étienne. Made entirely by hand. Thistle of enamels outlined in hollow, on a background of slightly transparent white enamel allowing the color of the earth to shine through, framed around the edge of the wing by a turquoise net, typical of vallaurian ceramics. Local red clay soil. Cloisonne shape of the plate in 5 hollow parts, perfect for an aperitif or a dish with several preparations. 23 cm in diameter and 2 deep. Very good condition.
