Howard & Son's restored sofa, 100% wool.

We are delighted to offer for sale this very beautiful large Baring sofa, fully restored by Howard & Son’s London, covered in Graham Sanderson Herringbone fabric. This sofa is probably the best ever made, with Howard & Son's being recognised as the creators of the most comfortable sofas in the world. It is a highly sought-after feather model, with the armrests and back upholstered with feathers like the finest duvets. The sofa is stamped and numbered inside the back leg Howard Chairs LTD. The sofa has been fully restored, including being stripped and reupholstered with the 100% wool Abraham Moon Chalet Stoneham light grey Chevron fabric from Graham Sanderson, which is very refined and luxurious. The legs have been cleaned, waxed, and polished to retain the original patina of the period. The cushions are filled with split-panel feathers, with a fibre core in the centre for structure and breathability, and feathers on the top and bottom for comfort.
