Longchamp Plate – Helena Model

Its wine-colored decoration on an ivory background, printed with a wheel, enchants the eye with its floral arabesques, torches, and lyres—all symbols of grace and harmony, typical of the neoclassical taste of the time. It looks like it came straight from a bourgeois dinner under the third republic, placed on a starched white tablecloth, between silver-plated cutlery and flickering candles. Stamped longchamp, hélèna model. Longchamp terre de fer inlay. Allows the plate to be dated circa 1880-1900. Good condition, micro scratches from use. Three chips on the edge visible in the photos.
