Newfoundland trunk

Beautiful and real trunk terre-neuvas. They were used by breton sailors leaving saint malo to canada to fish. They put their personal belongings on board the boats. The trunk is made of wood with two handles on each rib. A ferture on the front to close it. The interior has been painted in ecru. The trunk has been completely sanded maos however there are still some traces of blue paint. The trunk is very heavy.
