'Mezzoracolo' Floor Lamp by Gae Aulenti for Artemide, 1970s

1970s mezzoracolo floor or table lamp by gae aulenti. These lamps can be used as a floor or table lamp. The glass ball can be loosened and removed which reveals a series of bulbs inside. Where the glass has been removed and replaced over the years there is a series of edge damage to the glass although this can not be seen when it sits in the metal base unit. The base has some chips to the paintwork and there is some rusting on the metal grate section. The condition has been taken into account when pricing it.
