Daum, SIrius crystal lamp, model by Michel Daum circa 1952

Daum-nancy-france sirius model lamp base in clear crystal, ovoid shape, a large and powerful frieze worked with stylized foliage adorns the lower part, resting on a straight heel, narrow neck accommodating the socket and its stem. Signed daum-croix de lorraine-nancy france on the heel the sirius model was created by michel daum in 1952 (see a sirius model cup reproduced in daum les années 50, by françois duret-robert, les éditions de l'amateur, page 153). Note that the sirius model is quite close to a sorcy model cup reproduced in the same work, page 134-135, the frieze being a little less high. Very small scratch marks on 1 X 1 cm. The assembly for electricity redone by a professional. Dimensions and weight height of the crystal: 28 cm - height with the socket: 38 cm - width: 18 cm - depth: 18 cm weight: 7.5 kg.
