Art Deco buffet revisited

This pretty art deco piece of furniture dates from the 20s or 30s. We find the characteristic and remarkable elements: the magnificent pan flute feet, the vertical and horizontal grooves, the stepped cornice, the sculpted brass handles. It has been completely sanded because it was covered with a very dark tinted varnish then painted in crème café, a bright and warm white with paint resources. Its upper compartment opens from the front and has a shelf that can be adjusted in height thanks to the rack. The old wire mesh has been replaced by a raffia weave. The lower compartment also contains a shelf. Very practical due to its compact size and its storage capacity, this piece of furniture can be a pocket emptier in an entrance hall, an occasional piece of furniture in a hallway, a sideboard or jam cupboard or small dresser in a living room, a bathroom cabinet or a delightful storage unit in a bedroom. Both sober and stylish, retro and modern, it will bring its charm and authenticity to your interior.
