Secretary in cabinet opening by two leaves with inlaid decoration of a fleur-de-lys in a medallion topped with a ribbon knot, the fields inlaid with flowers on a background of rosewood, in a frame of interlacing alternated garlands. The uprights joined by a rosewood veneer crotch shelf arranged in curly end in sheathed feet. Top of red marble from languedoc with inverted cavé. Louis XVI style furniture, 1st half of the 19th century composed of many old elements. Apocryphal stamp by e. Levasseur. H: 121 cm - w: 89 cm - d: 37.5 cm. Very high quality and extremely decorative furniture. This cabinet has been restored at our cabinetmaker, stamp varnish, adjusted locks, marble cleaned, assemblies checked etc... It is therefore in perfect.
