Description
Cocotte designed by Raymond Loewy for Lecreuset in the early 1950s, the name of the model is the "coquelle", it is the first collaboration between a designer and a manufacturer of kitchen items. It was produced from 1954 to 1972, this is the first model with bakelite handles, with a volume of 4.5 liters. It is in exceptional condition, there is only a micro chip of enamel (2 mm) on one corner of the lid. This model is not oven safe because of the bakelite handles. Note, the bakelite of one of the two handles has a different appearance from the other, it is not damaged, just different.
