This very beautiful dish with 3 ceramic cups enamelled in a pretty milky gray can be used for its primary purpose, to present some appetizers as an aperitif, but it can also be diverted into a storage compartment, or even used in the bathroom to receive cotton pads, soaps or small makeup accessories. It is signed below by jean austruy, a ceramist renowned since the 1950s and who continued to work in the family artisanal workshop that he created in saint marcellin in isère until his retirement around 1990. This dish must date from the years 70, it indeed includes very particular graphics that austruy obtained by an incision technique specific to him (sgraffito) and which he applied to the table service elements that he created at that time. The enamelling is also typical of his work from that period, it contains numerous round, light brown marks, which look like burns. This dish is in perfect condition, not even a chip! It measures 26 cm on the side, 3.5 cm in height at the level of the cups, approximately 7 cm at the level of the central handles.
