Sofa throw or bed cover

Bedspread that can be used as a sofa throw, in pure white cotton hand crocheted in the 1950s, in very good condition. A simple tear to report (see photo) which can be repaired with crochet or sewn. The edges on all 4 sides are scalloped and form an elegant border.
