A highly sculptural ensemble, sold with 2 of its original seat cushions (one blue and one red). The Knoll signature present under these pads proves the undeniable authenticity of the entire lot. ■ VINTAGE CONDITION AND PATINA Please note, this is an old set with a very pronounced patina, prized by collectors for its authentic appearance: Manufacture: Structure made of steel wires assembled by brass welding, originally painted black. Patina: The wear of time has caused the black paint to chip at friction points. This reveals beautiful golden details (the brass from the welds) as well as natural oxidation of the steel (red/orange surface rust) on the mesh.
