Old wooden hinged cabinet

Adorable handcrafted piece of furniture made from a mix of walnut and pine wood. Although its original use remains mysterious, one might assume it was an old telephone cabinet, with its hinged compartment and retractable support for taking notes. But we also imagine it as a pretty bathroom side table. A small dent in the upper front part of the hinged compartment; numerous pits and tunnels in the pine parts. The piece of furniture has been sanded and treated against pests. It is protected by a hard base and enhanced with a walnut-tinted wax from Libéron. A crazy charm! Dimensions: 61 X 95 X 54 cm.
