Charming hand mirror from the late 19th to early 20th century. Entirely carved from wood with a floral and foliage motif. A delicate and meticulous artisanal work. The worn wood reveals the subtle remnants of a nearly vanished matte gilding. The original glass is spotted and wrinkled (effect of aged mercury backing).
