Vintage French oyster tray from Elchinger

Oyster tray in white and blue ceramic depicting oysters, mussels and clams. It has capacity for 15 oysters. It from the famous elchinger house. Céramiques elchinger is a family business that wendelin elchinger (1809-1895) founded in 1834 on nancy. He transformed the tile factory inherited from his father which was founded around 1792. Production was initially dedicated to culinary pottery. Eating oysters is a pleasure, but doing it in one of these dishes is a real "plaisir", it is bringing the art de table to your home. Notice that I also have plates matching with the tray. It is in very good condition. It measures 34 cm in diameter.
