Chinese bar decorated with animated scenes in hard stones and chinese lacquer. Multiple storage spaces accessible by opening 4 leaves the sides are also decorated all sides represent traditional symbols of china. Made in chinese lacquer on an essentially black background and enhanced with gold, each motif is entirely hand-carved and made from hard stones of different colors. The keyholes are in chiseled silvered bronze. Exceptional work executed in the 1950s. H150 X 104 x58.
